The University of Rochester celebrated the opening of O’Brien Hall, a 53,000 sq ft building sited to create both a quadrangle and a neighborhood. The ground floor contains a large lounge area, conference rooms, a performing arts area, and a staff apartment. The four upper residential floors house 148 students (in singles, doubles, and suites) with lounges and study areas on each floor. This project was designed to achieve a LEED® Gold rating.
